Day 16- Alexandria

Today started with a bang. Diane bent the stem of the rear tube trying to pump it and Jim spent half an hour trying to change it only to have the tube get stuck. So we didn’t want to take a chance at a pinch flat on the road since the tire is so hard to change so we swapped out the back wheel and will brought the Zipp wheel to a bike shop when we finished for the day. The weather was nice but got hot fast and lots of pollen floating around. Welcome to spring! Ride was nice until the city when we had to ride on the sidewalks. We get into MD tomorrow!
