Day 12- Hilly Henderson
Up and out early to meet and drop off CCALS hats and shirts to Dr. Bedlack and his staff at the ALS Clinic at Duke University in Durham. What a fantastic human. The jacket he is wearing was made special for him from a “dress the stars tailor” who met Dr. Bedlock and made him the jacket that signifies some of the ALS stories from Dr. Bedlock. It truly is a special piece of art- we feel so honored that he wore it today to show us. We started our hilly ride to Henderson/Southhill from there. It was very hilly but a beautiful ride. Skies were clear and sun was shining so it warmed up nicely as the day went on. NC to VA! Richmond tomorrow.
