Phyllis C. Muszalski, 78, of Worcester, Massachusetts passed away June 16, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She leaves behind her loving husband, George Muszalski, of 58 years, and daughters, Christine Muszalski, Alicia Muszalski, and Julie Muszalski (Michelle Cutrali). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchild, Walker Kelly, with whom she shared a special bond, and her lifelong friend Beverly Bennett. She is predeceased by both parents, Charles and Josephine Triba, and her sister and best friend, Patricia Cozzolino.
Phyllis, aka “Mama Muzzy” was the epitome of the matriarch of the family. She was an avid supporter of all family activities and never missed one of Julie’s softball games. She had a green thumb and eye for landscape design. She enjoyed teaching Walker about flowers and creating and maintaining beautiful flower gardens with Christine. She was especially known for her baking skills and made the best cakes and pies. Summer was by far her favorite season, and she brought the family together for Cape Cod vacations every year. She was a firm believer of family traditions, especially around the holidays, including crafting Christmas wreaths and baking homemade cookies for family and friends. Her family looks forward to continuing these traditions in her honor.
Services will be private at a later date. Please contact the family for details. Please consider a donation in Phyllis’ name to Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS).
