Johanna Wile Schwartz, 54, Georgetown, MA
Surrounded by her family and closest friends, Jodi passed away on March 7, 2025 at BILH Burlington Hospital after complications following a short battle with ALS. Born on October 24, 1970 in Woodbury, NJ, Jodi was the daughter of Charles B. and Geraldine C. (Wile) Schwartz of Ipswich, both of whom predeceased her.
Jodi is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Heidi & Larry Kent and loving niece, Courtney Kent of Rowley; sister Sarah (Schwartz) Colton of Colorado and nephew Patrick; nephew, C. Michael Schwartz of Puerto Rico, and nieces Alexandra Schwartz of Danvers, and Meghan Schwartz of Florida. She also leaves behind her closest and dearest friends: Heather & Dave Connerty, and their son and Jodi’s Godson, Camden of Haverhill; and Angelina Sutson and her family Glenn, Athina, and Amber of Danvers. Jodi’s extended family includes Cathy Schwartz Scheland of Florida; Courtney Crowe of Florida, Janice Crowe Schubert of Pennsylvania; and Emma Crowe Duxbury and her family Emerson, Grey, Lennon, and Sloane of the Netherlands. Jodi will be greatly missed by her close friends Marianne Clark & Lorraine Botto, as well as her numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jodi loved spending time with her family and friends, hosting dinners & competitive game nights. She enjoyed watching all sports, game shows (Jeopardy being her favorite), and listening to all genres of music, but especially country. She and Angie traveled frequently, including cruises and visited Arizona, Florida, Virginia, Savannah, and most recently celebrated her 54th birthday with Heidi & Angie in Nashville & Memphis.
Jodi graduated from Ipswich High School in 1988 and immediately went to work. Her last job was at D&R Construction, where for the past 19 years, she was well respected by those in her industry and made many friends and colleagues over the years.. Special thanks to Bob & Kathy Rotundi for the tremendous support and generosity they provided to Jodi during her time at D & R, but most especially for the past couple of months.
