WAREHAM — Karen M. (Corey) Langford, 57, of Wareham, formerly of Falmouth, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at her home after a long illness. She was the wife of Oscar J. Langford.

Born in Wareham, Karen was the daughter of Marlene and Richard Corey Sr. of Falmouth. A graduate of Falmouth High School, class of 1973, she graduated from Becker College in Worcester.

Karen worked for the Small Business Service Bureau in Worcester, Verigen Bio-Tech, as executive assistant to Jeff Taylor at Monster.com, and most recently for the Wareham Housing Authority until her illness. She is survived by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Richard L. Corey Jr. and Robert Corey, both of Falmouth, and J. Brian Corey of Easton; a sister, Patricia Friedman of Falmouth; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth Center, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, East Falmouth. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, East Falmouth. Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
