John B. Lombardo of Osterville, formerly of Needham died on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Golden Living Nursing Center in Norwood. His was 93 years old.

Born in Arista, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Fillipo and Florence (Crescenzio) Lombardo. John was a US Army World War II Veteran, having served in the Battle of the Bulge. HE was a retired carpenter and a 50 year member of the Carpenters Union Local # 275. John enjoyed fishing, boating, carving and puzzle making. He was the beloved husband of the late Louise (Pierce) Lombardo and the loving father of John Lombardo of Billerica and Jo Ann Fabbrucci and her husband Robert of Norwood. Brother of the late Florence LaQuila, Carmen Lombardo, Salvatore Lombardo, Rose Trabucco and Angie Tripodi. Dear grandfather of Jill Kindorf and her husband Jeff, Lauren and Michael Fabbrucci.

Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday, May 31st at 9Am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 5-7PM. Interment at MA National Cemetery- Bourne on Friday afternoon at 12:45.
