KENDRICKEN, William M. Age 73, died on June 17, 2023, at home in Roslindale from ALS.
Born August 15, 1949, Billy was a beloved husband of 50 years to Janice E. (Koschen); father of Jo Ann of Chicago, John and Kim of West Roxbury, Liz and partner Brian Donovan of Roslindale, and Mary Kate Kasper of Jamaica Plain. He was the adoring grandfather to Finn and Audrey. Billy grew up in Hyde Park, served in the U.S. Army 1970-1971, and was a dedicated patrolman for 32 years in the Boston Police Department. He furthered his education at UMass Boston with a Bachelor’s in Criminology and Anna Maria College with a Master’s in Criminal Justice. He loved spending time at Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH, with his family and beloved Beach Buddies.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY, on Wednesday, June 21st from 4-7 p.m. A Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 22nd at 11:30 a.m. Interment private.
