York, Maine: Sandra H. Studley, 85 a long-time resident of Naples, FL and York, ME died peacefully May 25, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 3, 1939 in Worcester, MA and was the daughter of the late Edward I. and Madeline T. Hulbert and sister of the late Edward I. Hulbert Jr.
Sandra was a graduate of Westborough High School, class of 1957. She attended Westfield State College and also the Katherine Gibbs School for Secretaries. She worked for R.R. Donnelly Publishing Company and lived in New York City for a year and then transferred to Boston. That is where she met the love of her life; Robert “Bob” H. Studley. They were married for 48 wonderful years until his passing in 2012.
Sandra devoted her life to raising her family and volunteering within the community, church and with her children’s schools. She was a member of the Parents’ Association at the Brookwood School, Manchester-by-the-Sea and with the Allies at the Governor’s Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts between the years of 1976 and 1986.
In 1983 Sandra and Bob bought a second home in York, Maine looking forward to eventually retiring and living there permanently. Once Bob retired they split their time between York and Naples, Florida becoming active at the York Golf and Tennis Club and the Country Club of Naples enjoying their favorite activity golf, together and separately. She was a wonderful person to all that knew her and will be dearly missed.
Sandra leaves behind her daughter Susan L. Sanidas, her son-in-law Brett A. Sanidas of West Falmouth, MA and her daughter-in-law Tammie H. Studley of Winter Park, Florida. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Austin and Emily Sanidas and Noah and Grace Studley. She was predeceased by her loving son Robert H. Studley Jr who passed away in January 2023.
