LEOMINSTER— Robert W. Hastings, 52 years old of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Friday April 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born on June 30, 1969 in Leominster, the son of the late Robert W. Hastings and Cecile D. (Rocheleau) Hastings and was a lifelong Leominster resident.
Rob is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mellisa M. (Gamache) Hastings; his three children, Jonathan Hastings, Thomas (TJ) Hastings, and Catherine Hastings, all of Leominster; his mother Cecile Hastings of Leominster; his brother Kevin Hastings and his wife Denise of Philipston, his sister Donna Boyle and her husband Jerry of Tennessee, and his brother Scott Hastings and his wife Peggy of Templeton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
Rob graduated from Leominster High School in 1987. He spent most of his career as a co-owner/employee of Rocheleau Tool & Die in Fitchburg.
One of Rob’s happiest moments was finishing an Ironman Triathlon in 2009. He was an exercise enthusiast who enjoyed running, bicycling, and weight lifting. He also enjoyed fishing as well as watching all the New England Sports teams but especially the Boston Red Sox and The New England Patriots.
Calling hours are Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 4pm – 7pm at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster.
The funeral mass is Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11am from Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Leominster.

At the request of the family masks are required while attending all services.
