It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert P. Fortin of West Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Fortin and Marjorie E. Fortin (Pelland). He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Fortin (Gardner); his children, Jennifer (Victor) of Chicopee and Joshua (Kathleen) of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Kobi and Julianna; and his siblings, Bruce A. Fortin (Joanne) of Sterling and Christine E. Fortin of Nantucket. He is also survived by brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 15th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
