Richard Irwin Dunhoff was born July 18, 1952, in Latrobe, the son of Gladys and William Dunhoff, and sibling to his older brother, David and sister, Diane.

Richard Dunhoff passed away peacefully in his Boca Raton, Fla. home, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, surrounded by family.

A kind and loving husband, father and grandfather, he leaves behind his beloved wife, Dalia; his daughter, Deidra and son-in-law, Yair; his son, Adam; his daughter, Hayley; his daughter, Michelle and son-in-law, Moshe; as well as five grandkids. Richard touched everyone he met with his gregarious, larger-than-life persona, his humor, and most of all, his kindness. He was a true light to all who knew him.

Richard graduated from Latrobe High School and Temple University. Well-known as the proud owner of Weiss Furniture, a century-old family business serving Latrobe and surrounding areas for generations, and a former president of Congregation Emanu-El Israel in Greensburg, Richard was devoted to his community. In the last decade, Richard has lived in Latrobe, Pa., Boca Raton, Fla., and Tel Aviv, Israel, but as a true son of Latrobe, it was Richard’s wish to be buried in his hometown, where he spent the majority of his life.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. this Monday, April 17, at B’nai Israel Cemetery, parking and adjacent to: 1301 Middletown Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
