HUDSON, NH ‘ Ralph E. Fairbanks, 76, a resident of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on October 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Linda A. (Lynch) Fairbanks with whom he enjoyed 23 years of marriage.

He was born in Byfield, MA on April 19, 1948, and was the son of the late Earle Fairbanks.

Ralph was educated in the Haverhill school system. He was a graduate of Boston University, where he earned a master’s degree in political science. He proudly served in the US Army. Prior to his retirement, Ralph worked at the Lowell Department of Transitional Assistance for 38 years. Ralph was a caring, selfless, and loving person. He deeply cherished his family, especially Jordan and Lily. He loved politics and was an active member of the VFW in Hudson, NH.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children; Jordan Fairbanks, Gene Wright and Michael Wright and his wife Jennifer, followed by grandchild Lillianna Wright.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
