Nina R. (Chazin) Wilcox, 54, of Barrington, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John Wilcox, cherished daughter of Phyllis Preston, and the late Edward Chazin.
Nina’s life was defined by her deep compassion and her passion for helping others. After 10 fulfilling years in education, and raising her family, she transitioned to a successful second career as a Realtor, finding great joy in helping people discover homes they loved.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nina’s greatest pride was her family. She and John built their life together in Barrington after settling there in 2000, raising their two children in a home filled with love, laughter, and care. She delighted in keeping Luke and Becca active and engaged, and treasured family vacations to Bermuda and time spent simply being together.
In addition to her devoted husband, John, Nina is survived by her son, Luke Wilcox of Barrington, RI; her daughter, Becca Wilcox of Barrington, RI; her mother, Phyllis Preston and many extended relatives and close friends who will forever cherish her memory.
