Michael grew up in Bristol, RI. He was a hard worker, from an early age working at his beloved uncle Carlo’s garage. He moved on to work in the food distribution business and worked for many distributers. He attended Johnson and Wales University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business while continuing to work. He was very passionate about what he did and worked his way up into management positions at Nestle where he was loved and respected. He continued his career as vice president of sales and marketing at New England Ice Cream where he worked alongside of his lifelong friend Bruce Ginsburg.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his family. His ideal day was to work in the yard with everyone pitching in. He loved his yard and took great pride in his pristine grass. He would love riding his tractor every Saturday doing various jobs. He was very handy and was always looking for something to fix. You would often see him walking around Lowes shopping for his next project. Sundays were for the beach where he would spend time with friends and family. Mike was a member of the Knights of Columbus and participated in many events with his fellow brothers. He was devout Catholic and attended church with his family every weekend and participated in many fundraising activities. It was his strong faith that carried him through his battle with ALS.
