Marguerite ‘Patricia’ P. Hurley (Hannon) age 86 passed away peacefully October 18th, with the love of her life and her children by her side. Beloved wife of Joseph P. Hurley Jr, together since they were 13 years old and married for 62 years. Pat was never found without Joe and vice versa. Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester and Milton Massachusetts, she was a graduate of Jeanne D ‘ Arc Academy and Newton College of the Sacred Heart.

Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her longtime summer home in North Falmouth. Her fondest memories were made in ‘warm Climates’, on Cape Cod, Maui and Naples. It is here where she would greet many people with her unforgettable smile, while walking for miles.

In addition to raising a family of four children, she worked for her husband’s law office for many years and volunteered at St. Ann’s parish and school in Naples, FL.

Loving mother of the Hon. Joseph P. Hurley III and his wife Heidi of Braintree, Margot Conley and her husband Dan of Needham, Sarah Harrington and her husband Ted of Braintree, and Nicole Joyce and her husband Paul Joyce of Braintree. She is predeceased by her parents Hon. Edwin F. and Marguerite Hannon, Brother Edwin Hannon Jr, and sisters Marie Malinowski and Jean Grace. She was the loving brother of Barry T. Hannon. Also survived by 12 cherished grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Seton, North Falmouth, Monday, October 24th, 11am.

Visiting hours at the Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 584 W Falmouth Hwy, West Falmouth, Sunday, October 23rd from 3 to 6 pm.

Burial in North Falmouth Cemetery.
