Psalm 23, Mizmor l’David, Song of David
Adonai is my shepherd, I am complete.
In lush meadows You let me lie down;
Alongside tranquil waters You lead me.
You restore my life.
You guide me in paths of righteousness for the sake of Your name.
Even when I walk through the valley of deep darkness,
I fear no harm, for you are with me.
Your rod and staff, they reassure me.
You set a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; wine brims over my cup.
Indeed, goodness and steadfast love shall pursue me
all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of Adonai as long as I live.

“There Are Stars” – A Poem
Hannah Senish
There are stars up above,
so far away we only see their light
long, long after the star itself is gone.
And so it is with people that we loved ‐‐
their memories keep shining ever brightly
though their time with us is done.
But the stars that light up the darkest night,
these are the lights that guide us.
As we live our days, these are the ways we remember.

Mourners Kaddish / Prayer
Yisgadal v’yiskadash sh’mei rabbaw (Amen)
Exalted and hallowed be God’s great name
in the world which God created, according to plan.
May God’s majesty be revealed in the days of our lifetime
and the life of all Israel – speedily, imminently,
To which we say: Amen.

Blessed be God’s great name to all eternity.
Blessed, praised, honored, exalted,
extolled, glorified, adored, and lauded
be the name of the Holy Blessed One,
beyond all earthly words and songs of blessing, praise, and comfort.
To which we say: Amen.
May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us and all Israel.
To which we say: Amen.
May the One who creates harmony on high, bring peace to us
and to all Israel.
To which we say: Amen.

“Eyl Maley Rachamim” (translated to mean “God full of compassion”)
God, full of mercy, who dwells in the heights, provide a sure rest upon
the Divine Presence’s wings, within the range of the holy, pure and
glorious, whose shining resemble the sky’s, to the soul of MARC
ABRAHAMS for a charity was given to the memory of his soul.
Therefore, the Master of Mercy will protect him forever, from behind the
hiding of his wings, and will tie his soul with the rope of life. The
Everlasting is his heritage, and he shall rest peacefully upon his lying
place, and let us say: Amen.
