Linda (Conner) Scalzi of Litchfield, NH passed away peacefully on June 21, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones after courageously living with ALS for five years. Beloved wife to Anthony “Tony” Scalzi for 38 years and devoted mother to her children Teresa and Andrew, Linda was known by her family and friends for her hospitality and thoughtful generosity.

Linda was born in Newton, MA on June 29, 1963. She grew up in Natick, MA, the younger sister to siblings Gary Conner and Cheryl Kiessling. She was a 1985 graduate of UMass Lowell and was the office manager at Kalil & Kress Family Dentistry for 22 years until her retirement in 2022. She had a passion for helping children, volunteering in the children’s ministry at her church for over 20 years and serving on the board of the Greater Nashua Dental Connection.

Linda was an avid traveler who shared her love of exploring tropical destinations with her family. She found joy in the arts, frequenting musical theater productions in Ogunquit and Portsmouth and following Andy Grammer in concert all around New England. When at home, Linda spent her free time knitting hats and headbands for family, friends, and babies at Boston Children’s Hospital. Most of all, Linda loved spoiling her great nieces and nephews, and whisking them away for a day of adventure.

She lived with ALS with no limits–she never allowed her diagnosis to stop her from passionately living her life and spending quality time with those she loved.

Linda is predeceased by her parents, Rosalind and Lawrence Conner. She is survived by her loving husband, Tony Scalzi, her daughter Teresa Scalzi of North Andover, MA, her son Andrew Scalzi of Merrimack, NH, sister Cheryl (Conner) Kiessling and husband Thomas of Billerica, MA and brother Gary Conner and his wife Jane of Bellingham, MA, and many nieces, nephews, and their children.

The family would like to thank VNA of Manchester and Southern NH, Linda’s incredible team at the Healey Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital, the communication team at Boston Children’s Hospital, and Compassionate Care ALS.

Visiting hours will be from 4-7 pm Friday June 28, 2024 at Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry Street in Hudson, NH. The funeral service will be held at Main Street United Methodist Church, 154 Main Street, in Nashua, NH on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 10am. All may please meet at church. A private burial will take place at a later date.
