Laurie Silva, of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away with her family by her side on September 27th, 2024, in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
Laurie was born in New Haven Connecticut, December 13th, 1958 to parents Joseph William Silva and Lillian Hanna Letsky. While she grew up in Connecticut, it was Massachusetts that became home. There she found many loving friends and a wonderful community in which she raised her family. Originally drawn to the area because of Kerem Shalom, she quickly became and remained involved throughout the years.
While having had great success in academia and career earlier in life, she chose to put those aside in order to raise her children. Later, she returned to education and became a nurse, to further help and care for others.
She was predeceased by her parents, and brother Will Silva. She leaves behind her three sons, Michael Linker of Littleton, MA, Daniel Linker of Acton, MA, and Joshua Linker of Burlington, VT, as well as her older sister, Jane Silva and her two daughters, Leah and Anne.
She found the most joy in life by spending it with those she loved most, her dear friends and family, by ‘putzing’ in her garden, and being with her many pets, whom she adored. She especially enjoyed music, both playing her violin and cello in numerous ensembles and seemingly always listening to it, regardless of the activity or setting.
Fare you well, fare you well, I love you more than words can tell;
