Conway, MA – After a four-year dance with ALS, John Perreault has transitioned to what’s next. We feel certain that whatever that is, there are fast downhills, swift rivers, and plenty of triple IPAs. He left surrounded by family and friends, and all of their love, a reflection of the love he gave to the world.

John grew up in Ludlow with his family, Richard & Joanne Perreault (nee Seidel) who predeceased him, and his sisters, Linda Perreault and Susan Fontaine. He graduated from Syracuse University with dual degrees in Biology and Chemistry but moved on to information technology. He ran a successful independent consulting business and went on to work for several businesses in the valley, most recently, Hillside Plastics in Turners Falls, where he was the IT manager.

John loved helping people, and showing them how to use technology to make their jobs easier. He also loved being outdoors and engaging in any sport that was slightly dangerous, including downhill and cross country skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking.

John is survived by his loving family Amy Dryansky, Tovi Perreault, and Isaac Perreault; nephews Jason and Ryan Brown; great nephew Nate Brown; sister- and brother-in law Nina & Bill Carr, his sisters as well as many dear cousins.

John requested that there be no services or calling hours, and in lieu of flowers, that donations go to Compassionate Care ALS, (PO Box 1052, West Falmouth, Mass. 02574 or online at ccals.org), both of which gave him tremendous support over the last few years.
