Rollinsford, NH-Jeffrey S. Jacques, 51, passed away on Sunday June 27, 2021 after battling ALS.

Born July 3rd,1969 in Dover NH, he was the son of Armand and Dixie (Smith) Jacques.

Jeff proudly served multiple communities as a police officer for 19 years and was a member of the Dover SWAT Team. He worked as a pipefitter and project manager for 31 years at the Portsmouth Naval Yard and was respected by many.

Jeff was part of the Portsmouth Judo Club, and he was passionate about karate and boxing. He also was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and any team his children were on. He was a loving and supportive father who encouraged his children to do their best.

He loved antique cars and enjoyed working on his Cutlass. Jeff was also a huge Disney fan and enjoyed many family trips there with the Rosselli and April families and Uncle Gary.

Jeff was the ultimate provider and always took care of his family and friends. He was loved by all who knew him.

Jeffrey is survived by his children Joshua Jacques, Jeremy Jacques, Alexander Jacques, Jesse Jacques, and Anastasia Jacques, his parents Armand & Dixie Jacques, Dina Jacques, Kimberly Jacques and her husband Michael, niece Britney and her husband Chad, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, friends Gary Sprague and his husband Adam, Norman & Andrea Doyon, Ron & Debbie April, Steve & Isabel Katsonis, Mike South, Jason Sargent, and his Judo family including John Nelson, Dick Therrien, and the Potter family.

Jeff was predeceased by his grandparents William & Evelyn Jacques and Robert & Alice Smith. And lifelong mentor and Judo instructor, Calvin Potter.

The family would like to send special thanks to his aunt and uncle, Patricia and Warren Dowaliby, his nurse Florence Debenedictis, Cornerstone VNA. And Compassionate Care ALS for all their help and support during this time.

A visitation will be held at Tasker Funeral home on Thursday July 1st from 4pm-7pm, with a burial followed at a later date.
