Jean Elizabeth (Dooley) Wagner – 75, of Marshfield, passed away on December 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl J. Wagner, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2021.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of Joseph R. and Roseann (Flannagan) Dooley.

Jean graduated from Canton High School and went on to have a fulfilling career as a secretary working alongside her husband Carl at South Shore Engineering Team.

In her personal life, Jean was known for her love of boating, reading, and spending time with family and friends. These activities brought her great joy and were a testament to her vibrant and engaging spirit.

Devoted mother of Katie and son-in-law Brian Duff of Hull and son Brian Wagner of Stoughton, formerly of Scituate.

Cherished grandmother of Carrie Duff Ozuna, her husband David, Cameron and Kyle Duff. Great-grandmother to Elaina Rose, Addison Grace and Benjamin Carl all of Hull, MA.

Sister of Richard Dooley, Dennis Dooley and his wife Diane, Joseph Dooley and his wife Kieli, Thomas Dooley and his wife Ann, Maryanne Grady and her husband Sean, and Kevin Dooley and his wife Lisa.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Massachusetts, 02066. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor. Interment immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Meeting House Lane, Scituate Harbor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
