Gregory A. Borges, 72, of Fall River and husband of Tammy (Rego) Borges, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at home following a long illness.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Harry L. Borges and the late Irene (Borges) Borges.

Prior to his retirement, he was a Pile Driver for Locals 56 and 94 and worked on many projects of which he was very proud, especially the Jamestown Bridge and Boston’s Big Dig. He loved fishing and camping with his wife and beagle, “Abbie”, up on Lake Manchaug. An avid Red Sox and Patriot’s fan, he also enjoyed watching Judge Judy.

Besides his beloved wife of thirty-four years, he leaves: his in-laws, Joseph and Lorraine Rego; his aunt, Barbara Borges; brother-in-law, Joseph Rego, Jr. and his wife, Dovalina; nephews, Joseph R. Rego and Evan Almeida and his wife, Nicole; niece, Krystal Donovan and her husband, Daniel; and many cousins, great nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Kevin Borges and nephew of the late Ralph Borges.

His funeral arrangements, under the care of the Silva-Faria Funeral Homes, were private.
