Wiencko, Grace A. (Rood) of Weymouth, sadly passed away due to a long and valiant battle with ALS on May 17, 2021. She was born in Boston to the late William and Florence Rood. Grace spent her childhood years growing up in Hawaii and Florida. Her father was a Naval Officer stationed at these locations.

After spending her early adult years in Billerica, she later met and married the love of her life, Edward J. Wiencko Jr. They then moved to Weymouth in 1985 to start a family, where she was a homemaker for her early married years, raising their two beautiful children. Grace loved volunteering for what she was truly passionate about. She worked as a volunteer for Paws 4 Survival. She played the acoustic guitar and sang for seniors at the Braintree Manor Nursing Home. She also served the Lord at Calvary Chapel Cape Cod, with the worship team and other ministries. Grace spent most of her career at FM Global as a Senior Processor, which she had great camaraderie with her coworkers.

Beloved wife of 37 years to Edward J. Wiencko, Jr. of Weymouth. Loving mother of Edward J. Wiencko III of Clinton and Heather Donabedian and her husband Raffi of Abington. Dear sister of Aaron Rood of Tewksbury, Billy Gamble of AZ and the late Paul Rood and Bobby Gamble. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
