Mr. Gary E. Reed, age 62, of Nashua, died Dec. 23, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. For 34 years, he was the beloved husband of Lisa (Wilson) Reed.
He was born in Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on Feb. 20, 1959, son of the late Clarence “Larry” Reed and Audrey (Flewelling) Reed, who survives him, of Wilmington, MA. He attended Bedford, MA Public Schools then Shawsheen Valley Tech, Billerica MA.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a diesel mechanic and foreman in the transportation department and then Building Services for the Concord, MA Public Schools for over 38 years.
He was a member of Benevolent Protector of Elks (BPOE) in Billerica, MA then the Nashua, NH chapter.
Gary enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, blacksmithing, auto repair, family, RVing and traveling in his spare time. Gary was a dedicated family man with a great sense of humor and who never missed an opportunity to gather his family for breakfast or an ice cream. He was a patriot who loved his country, a hard worker, a music lover, and a creative soul who will be sorely missed. <3
Besides his wife Lisa, and mother, Audrey, he is survived by a daughter, Nicolette and husband Israel Gracey and their children Jaycub and Ariana; a daughter Brandy and husband Gabriel Giestas; and daugher Jessica Reed and fiance Nathan Marsh; a brother, Mark Reed and wife Ruth and their children and grandchildren; and his late brother Dean and his wife Linda and children and grandchildren. Along with many other loving family members and friends.
SERVICES: Relatives & Friends are invited to his Memorial Visitation and Service from 3:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A prayer service will take place during visitation. Interment is private.
