Eleanor L. “Ellie” “Lily” (Dearing) Paniagua, 55, of Taunton, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 after a courageous battle with ALS. She was the beloved wife of Luis A. Paniagua.
Born July 10, 1963 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late George Dearing and Alice (Larson) Dearing. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School and Massasoit Community College.
Ellie worked as a clerk in the food industry and also had her real estate license.
She is survived by her husband, Luis A. Paniagua; her loving children, Christopher G. Cahill, Sara E. Camps and Luis A. “Number 2” Paniagua; her adored grandchildren, Stephany, Ashleigh, Alexis and Sky; her siblings, Barbara Knight, Evelyn Deming, Joan Vodden, Inger Furman, Donald Dearing and Harold “Hal” Dearing; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was the mother of the late Leann and sister of the late Danny Dearing, John Dearing and George “Buster” Dearing.
Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, April 10th from 4:00-7:00PM followed by a brief service at 7:00PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul on Thursday, April 11th at 10:00AM in St. Ann Church, 660 North Main St., Raynham. Private cremation to follow.
