Donna Lee Eaton of Old Saybrook, CT was called safely home to be with Jesus on Monday October 23, 2023. Donna was born in Danbury, CT on January 11, 1950, to John and Ellen (Benso) Marshall. She grew up in Springfield, MA after moving there with her family at age 5. After graduating from Springfield Technical High School and attending Westfield State College she married her loving husband Roger Eaton. Donna and Roger were residents of Agawam, MA for almost 50 years where they raised their daughters. Donna was a co-owner and operator of a drycleaning business with her husband for over 35 years. As a follower and lover of Jesus Christ, she taught children’s Sunday school for over 20 years and ran the church kitchen for another 15 years.
Donna is survived by her husband along with her daughter Karen Eaton, her husband Andrew McArdle and their two children – Keira and Ethan; and daughter Pamela Gerardo, her husband Anthony and their three children – Dominic, Elena, and Olivia.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at Clinton Bible Fellowship, 70 E Main St., Clinton, CT on Saturday November 11 at 11am. Donations in Donna’s name can be made to Donate – Compassionate Care ALS (ccals.org).
