Dianna Militello, 52 of Beverly, passed away on Monday June 8, 2026, after a brief and courageous battle with ALS.
Dianna was born July 19, 1973, in Beverly, MA to the late Patricia (Walleston) and Peter Murch. She is survived by her husband Michael Militello, son Timothy Militello and sisters Alanna Murch and Joanna Goddard along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dianna was a graduate of Beverly High School in 1991. After graduation she worked at Kona, Dynisco, and Synventive in Gloucester MA where she met Mike, her partner for life. They were inseparable for 29 years. Most recently Dianna was employed by Beverly Public Schools at Ayers Ryal Side Elementary School.
Ever grateful for the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom after the birth of Timmy in 2006, she never missed the chance for an educational outing, trip to the beach and most importantly a trip to the library. Family was the cornerstone of her life and her greatest treasure. She always made her nieces and nephews a priority in any activity she had planned. She would endlessly make herself available for others and often volunteer Mike to do projects for her sisters, mother and even Mikes own family!
Dianna‘s family also included her closest friends since childhood. As they all went off to college, got married and started families, it was a priority to stay connected. That connection was invaluable in the last chapter of her story.
She had a beautiful gift for crocheting. She wove love into every stitch, leaving her family with cherished heirlooms they will hold onto forever. Dianna also had a green thumb, always happy tending to her indoor and outdoor plants with tenderness and care. As a lifelong active member of the Beverly community, she was passionate and volunteered tirelessly for the youth of Ryal Side.
Dianna brought happiness and joy to any room she was in. Grateful for every experience and never gave a second thought to anyone’s negative energy. She poured her heart into making life better for the people around her and always led with love, sometimes even tough love. Kindness, generosity and reliability were interlaced into Dianna’s character.
Unwavering in her faith, Dianna trusted in the path God placed her on.
Her graveside service will be at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, on Tuesday, June 16th at 11am. Family and friends are invited to attend.
