It is with great sadness that we share that Damon passed away in the early morning hours of November 15, 2025. While we are glad that Damon is no longer suffering, we are devastated, and unsure of what we will do without him.
Damon was an amazing man. He was hard working, caring, and loved the people in his circle fiercely. He fought so courageously against a horrible disease for over a year and a half. Even in his final days, we were in awe of his strength.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. We will post again when the details are solidified. We ask that you give his family some privacy at this time, please refrain from texting or calling. If you wish to send a card or flower arrangement it can be sent to 19 Deer Hill North Standish, ME 04084. If you wish to make a donation in Damon’s name, it can be made to Compassionate Care ALS (https://ccals.org), who made sure he had critical supplies and devices as his condition progressed.
We can’t thank you all enough for all of the love and support you’ve given Damon and his family over the past year and a half. ALS is a horrible disease that nobody deserves to endure. We will still be around to continue to raise awareness about ALS and Damon’s story, but will take some time to grieve our great loss.
