Catherine Talbert Jordan, loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 30, 2023.

Catherine’s journey began in Greenwood when she was born to her loving parents, Keith Neal and Debbie Gable Talbert.

Catherine’s love story with her husband, Robert Tanner Jordan, began in their college years and was truly a match made in heaven. With Catherine at College of Charleston and Tanner at the Citadel, it was clear to all who witnessed their connection that it was love at first sight. Theirs was a bond based on mutual respect, unwavering support, and genuine affection and they shared over ten wonderful married years together, building a life filled with laughter, joy, and beautiful memories.

After completing her education, Catherine pursued her passion for real estate working as a dedicated agent for the Collett Agency. She excelled in her career leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. Catherine had a zest for life and a magnetic personality that drew people to her, but her natural warmth and kindness made it easy for her to connect with others and forge lasting friendships along the way.

Catherine’s greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two beloved boys, Oliver Robert Jordan and Henderson Gable Jordan. She was the epitome of a nurturing and devoted mother, always putting their needs above her own. Her hope was that her love and dedication would ensure that her sons would grow up knowing they were adored and supported in every way possible.

In addition to her loving parents, devoted husband and beloved boys, Catherine’s memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her brother, Chase Talbert and his wife, Jessi, and their daughter, Ella Talbert; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Tena Jordan; brothers-in-law, Thomas Jordan, Jr. and his wife, Cara Jordan, along with their daughter, Natalie Kate Jordan, and Taylor Jordan, and his wife, Michaela Jordan, and their son, Cary Jordan; and her beloved uncle and aunt, Kent Talbert, and Kathy Cline, and her husband, Richard Cline; along with numerous cousins, immediate and extended loving family members.

Family and friends are invited to join in remembering Catherine’s remarkable life during the funeral service to be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, located at 207 Mitchell Road, Greenville, SC 29615. A private burial for Catherine will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Naomi Talbert, and Charles and Bobbi Gable.

Catherine’s compassionate spirit, loving nature, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends will forever be etched in our hearts. May she find eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
