Beverly T. Scarlett (Grover), 82, of Cotuit, formerly of Malden, died at home on August 20, 2019. Loving wife of 62 years to James Scarlett Sr. of Cotuit. Born in Malden, MA, daughter of the late Walter and Agnes (Belzarine) Grover. Beverly was a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic High School.
While living on Cape Cod Beverly loved the beach, kayaking, bike riding and digging for shellfish, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was always looking out for others, a truly selfless person.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, James Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Laura M. Cavallaro and her husband Charles Joseph of Middleton, MA, Lisa A. Freker and her husband Gary of Lowell, MA, and Donna J. Scarlett of Lynn, MA. She also leaves her brother Walter C. Grover Jr and his wife Susan of West Palm Beach, FL, along with her grandchildren Ashley and Ryan Freker, both of Lowell, and Max, Andrew and Ava Cavallaro, all of Middleton, MA.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday August 26, 2019 at 11:30AM in Christ the King Church, Job’s Fishing Road, Mashpee, MA. Burial will be private.
