Obituary: William E. Hogan

William Eugene Hogan,75 years of age, of Scituate, passed away July 14, 2014.

Born, raised and educated in Cambridge, he was a graduate of Cambridge Latin and Boston University. William retired after 40 years of service, as a district manager of pharmaceuticals with the Wyeth-Pfizer Company. He moved to Scituate in 1974. William enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, golfing, reading, operating his ham radio, as well as being a mentor to everyone.

He is survived by his beloved wife Audrey (Mullally) Hogan. Devoted brother of Mary Van der Hayden of South Carolina, Patricia Laughlin of Hopkinton, John Hogan of South Carolina, Kenneth Hogan of Northbridge and the late Paul Hogan. Also survived by many nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral was from the Richardson- Gaffey Funeral Home at 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. On Monday July 21, at 9 a.m. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary of The Nativity, 1 Kent Street, Scituate at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours was on Sunday, July 20, from 2 – 7 p.m. Burial immediately following the Mass in Trinity Park Cemetery, Scituate.
