Obituary: Susan Curtin Malloy

MALLOY, Susan Curtin 82, of Wellesley and North Falmouth, on January 19, from complications of ALS. Predeceased by her husband, John, on the same date 38 years ago; also by her parents, John and Eleanor Curtin, and sister Bonnie McCarthy. She leaves her daughter Elizabeth and husband Rich Letteney, of Southborough, daughter Martha and husband Peter Pina of Pepperell, and son Tom of Wellesley; grandchildren Sarah, Laura and John Letteney, Justin and Andrew Pina and Kathryn, John and Patrick Malloy. Also survived by her sister Carol and husband Ronald Walsh; and her nieces and nephews and their families, who meant the world to her. Sue also leaves her longtime best friend, Anne Stephans, her dog Otis and special people Claire and Diana. Sue was a Newton real estate broker for many years, most recently with Hammond Residential.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Compassionate Care ALS (ccals.org). Visiting hours Friday, January 22, 4-7pm at the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St., WELLESLEY. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 23, at 10am in St. John the Evangelist, 9 Glen Rd., Wellesley. Interment will be private.
