MINKWITZ, Russell E., Jr. Of Walpole, MA died at home on September 15, 2015 after a long battle with ALS.

Born in Boston, MA he grew up in Canton, MA. He died peacefully with his family close. He was 69 years old. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Carol Soule Minkwitz, three children Russell E Minkwitz, III, his wife Christen and their three boys: Nathan, Matthew and Noah; Laura Minkwitz and her daughter Kayla; and Eric Minkwitz. He had five siblings: Steve, Rick, Judy, Barbara and Deborah, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Penn State with a degree in Electrical Engineering. His career began at GE Aerospace Erie, PA later in several executive manufacturing positions in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He owned Millbrook Reel, Inc. of Rhode Island for the past 23 years.

A celebration of his life will be held at United Church of Christ, 30 Common Street, Walpole, MA on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 3 PM.
