Roland G. Nault, 74
Worcester – Roland “Ron” G. Nault, 74 of Worcester, MA passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
He is survived by a sister, Nancy Rassekh of Holden, three sons Robert Nault and his wife Denise, James Nault all from Grafton and John Nault from Douglas. Roland also leaves behind his most precious grandchildren Madison and Daniel Nault, as well as several nieces. Roland was predeceased by his parents Roland A. Nault and Ann T. (Borko) Nault, along with his wife Helen Nault and brother Robert A. Nault.
Roland was born in Worcester, MA graduating from St. Stephens High School and attended Worcester Junior College. He proudly served our country in the US Airforce from 1960-1964 as an Aircraft Mechanic for the Strategic Air Command. He was previously employed by Whitin Machine Works, George Meyer Manufacturing Company and retired from Heald Machine Corporation / Cincinnati Milacron in Worcester. He later consulted for Wyandotte Equipment and Frederick Seal, Inc.
Dad was proud to serve a Boy Scout leader in Troop 112, sharing his knowledge and life lessons with his sons and their friends. He enjoyed entertaining his family and friends at social gatherings. Over the years, he enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and the calming waters of Cape Cod.
Dad graciously donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Program at UMass Medical School. A private memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations can be sent to Compassionate Care ALS at www.ccals.org.
