of Dracut, MA; 56

DRACUT, MA — Raymond J. Desrosiers, 56, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, after a 19-month battle with ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn (Leahy) Desrosiers.

Raymond was born in Lowell, MA on June 12, 1961, a son of the late Helen L. (Morneau) and Raymond A. Desrosiers. For over 25 years, he worked as an automotive ASE master technician for Ronnie’s Automotive in Billerica, MA.

Raymond was a family man and car enthusiast. He loved history and fighter jet aircrafts, and enjoyed spending time at the Centerville Sportsman Club in Dracut.

In addition to his wife Kathryn of 36 years, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his four daughters, Jessica Desrosiers and her husband Dan Lepore of Woburn, Jennifer Desrosiers and her fiancé Deni Gaito of Salem, MA, Jillian Desrosiers and her significant other Anthony Chiaravallotti of Lowell, and Amanda Rivard and her fiancé Michael Agricourt of Dracut; his grandchildren, Thomas, Levi, Juliana and Lilyana; his three siblings, Richard Desrosiers and his wife Marie of Dracut, Rachel Goodwin and her husband Charles of Lowell, and William Desrosiers and his wife Tabitha of Dracut; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Jerry Desrosiers.

DESROSIERS — Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 12-4 p.m. on SUNDAY, November 26th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA. His funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27th at 10 a.m. at St. Marguerite D’Youville Church, Dracut. Burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.
