Obituary: Michael Robert Soullier, Sr.

Michael Robert Soullier, Sr., 53, a life-long resident of North Attleboro, passed away at home on Monday, March 17, 2014. He was the husband of Susan (Roy) Soullier, to whom he was married on May 1, 1999.

Born in Attleboro on July 31, 1960, he was a son of Ernest Joseph Soullier, Sr. and the step-son of Gail D. (Bryan) Soullier of Florida. He was also the son of the late Janet Elaine (Paquin) Soullier.

Mr. Soullier was the owner/operator of SHF Home Improvements in North Attleboro.

Michael was a born-again Christian.

Among his favorite pastimes were gardening, quohoging and playing horseshoes in the backyard.

In addition to his wife of nearly fifeen years; Michael is survived by his three children: Michael Robert Soullier, Jr. and Kristen L. Soullier, both of Attleboro; Marc W. Soullier of Pawtucket, RI; a step-daughter: Jessica L. Elliot of Attleboro; five siblings: Ernest Joseph Soullier, Jr. of Florida; Phillip Soullier of New Hampshire; Gail Framson of MA; Robert M. Soullier of Cape Cod, MA; Scott S. Soullier of North Attleboro; four grandchildren: Fiona L. Gambrazzio; Hailyn R. Lyne; Madilynn A. Soullier; Alexis K. Werner; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law; Joyce L. Howarth and the late Thomas A. Roy, Sr., who passed away on December 28, 2003.

He was the brother of the late Marc W. Soullier.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home – the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

Children’s room available during visitation.

Per request of the family, funeral services and burial will be private.
