Obituary: Michael A. Cardillo

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning Sept. 12th, 2012 after a brief but courageous and heroic battle with ALS at the age of 39.

Born on February 9, 1973 in Waltham; beloved son of Frank Cardillo of Waltham and Noreen M. (Bowler) {Cardillo} Code of Acton, Michael was raised in Naples, Florida and spent 30 years there before returning to Waltham a short time ago.

A graduate of Saint John Neuman High School in Naples, Florida, Michael was employed in the construction industry throughout his life.

Michael was a hardworking, quiet, strong and good person who was full of life and loved spending time with his family and friends. He demonstrated such strength in the face of his illness always joking and smiling. He enjoyed golf and was passionate about music, especially listening to reggae.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving sisters Wendy Cardillo Russo and Amy Cardillo Brogna both of Acton, his brother Frank A. Cardillo Jr., his cherished nieces Christy Donohoo and Mikayla Brogna, and numerous close & devoted friends and extended family.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Michael’s at the Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday afternoon Sept. 14th at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
