John H. Sprague Jr. of Bridgewater died February 7, 2015, in his home in Bridgewater, at the age of 74.

John was born in Portsmouth, N.H., son of the late Muriel (Newell) and Dr. John H. Sprague Sr. John traveled the world working in sales in the shoe industry. He was the devoted husband of Elizabeth “Betty” (Bourassa) Sprague; loving father of Marcia E. Unger of N.C., John “Skipper” Sprague of Grafton, and Amy Gagne of Millis; beloved grandfather of Danielle, Amelia, Chad, Lauren, ShaynaRose, Randi, and Buster; brother of Newell of Vt., Ruth of Kan., Muriel of Minn., and the late Marion.
