FEROLITO, Cpt. Anthony We sadly, yet with warm memories, announce the passing of retired Watertown Fire Captain Anthony P. Ferolito, age 77, of Waltham, Massachusetts on July 28, 2023. Beloved husband of Judy (Jandron) Ferolito; father of Amy Gullotti and her husband Chris of Sudbury, Massachusetts, and Laurie Bolio and her husband Mike of Concord, Massachusetts. Papa to Madison, Alex, Mia, Aiden, and Jordan; and brother of Ellen Maggio and her husband David of Methuen, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Captain Ferolito bravely and honorably served on the Watertown (MA) Fire Department from 1969 until his retirement as Fire inspector in 2001. Tony’s greatest joy was being surrounded by his many dear friends, many of whom were his brothers and sisters from the Department, and his loving family. Every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and family dinner was complete once his daughters and grandchildren could make Tony laugh his uncontrollable laugh that brought him to joyful tears.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Tony’s life by gathering for Visiting Hours in the Nardone Funeral Home at 373 Main Street, WATERTOWN, on Thursday, August 3 from 4-7 p.m. and again on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Main Street, Watertown.
