Former Berkeley Heights residents, lifelong dog lover Janet L. Suydam, 69, of Dennis, Mass., and formerly of Berkeley Heights, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Cape Cod Hospital.

A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at Bradley, Brough & Dangler, 299 Morris Ave., Summit, N.J. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Janet was born on Sept. 14, 1947, in New Brunswick, N.J. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar and Alice (Austin) Suydam. Janet was a lifelong dog lover and avid cross country skier and snowshoer. Janet worked as a director/vice President for several IT consulting services for many years. Janet is survived by her husband of 30 years, Allison L. Flint. She is also survived by her son, Ben.
