Deborah T. (Hanlon) Wood, 61, of Hanover, formerly of Weymouth, passed away at home Saturday, June 1, 2013. The daughter of the late James and Maverette (Powers) Hanlon, she was born in Boston, June 11, 1951. Deborah was raised and educated in Dorchester. She was a graduate of St. Patricks High School in Roxbury and Mt. Auburn Nursing School in Cambridge. She had been employed as a nurse case manager of Mass General Hospital in Boston. Deborah loved traveling and cruising, but what was most important was spending time with family. She was the loving mother of Shane Wood of Abington, Sean Wood and his wife Courtney of Weymouth and Jennifer Gonzalez and her husband Cole of Hanover; devoted sister of Donna Burke of Weymouth; cherished grandmother of four; aunt of Cassie Burke; and beloved friend of Patricia Thorne and Donna Bognanno.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53, in Hanover, Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Service in the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m., followed by burial in Hanover Center Cemetery.
