Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Batchelor, of West Harrison, Indiana, will be celebrated for the vibrant life she lived, as she passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on November 4, 1963, in Cincinnati to Lendall and Bernice (nee Riddell) Willis, Cindy was a shining beacon of love and support to all who knew her.

Her educational journey led her to William Henry Harrison High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with passion and purpose. Cindy’s love story began when she met Jeffrey Batchelor, and together they created a beautiful family, welcoming two wonderful sons: Ryan and Josh. Cindy dedicated many years to Procter & Gamble, contributing her talents in various roles, ultimately serving on the Safety Committee, where her commitment to others shone brightly.

Cindy and Jeff truly enjoyed life together. They loved to travel and made countless memories along the way. Naples became a special place for them, where they enjoyed spending time at their second home. Summers were often spent at Dale Hollow Lake, where boating, sunshine, family, and friends made for some of their favorite memories.

A gathering of loved ones will take place to honor Cindy’s enduring legacy on October 2, 2026. Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, located at 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Following the service, Cindy will be entombed at Gibson Cemetery, allowing her family and friends to pay their respects and celebrate her life.

Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Batchelor, her cherished sons, Ryan (Melissa) and Josh (Jenny) Batchelor, cherished grandchildren: Vedder, Krew, Laney and Remi Pearl, her loving brother, Chris (Penny) Willis, and her caring in-laws, Terry (Stu) Lake and Todd (Bev) Batchelor, along with wonderful nieces who hold her memory dear. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and in-laws, Walter “Pooch” & Judy Batchelor.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to be made to Compassionate Care ALS, as a testament to Cindy’s unwavering compassion for others. A funeral home representative will be available to assist with donations on the day of the service.

As we come together to celebrate Cindy’s life, let us remember her kindness, her infectious spirit, and her ability to uplift those around her. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved her.
