Beloved wife, mother, and friend, formerly of Wellesley, passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-eight on August 31, 2012.

Predeceased by her husband, Julio, and her son James. Katherine is survived by her son Julio DiGiando of Jamestown, RI, her daughter, Jane Hussey (David) of Orleans, MA, her daughter in law, Joan DiGiando of Wellesley, her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael Nicholas, and Dana, and her many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather in St. Paul Church, 502 Washington St. Wellesley, on Wednesday, September 5, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassionate Care ALS at www.ccals.org. Henry J. Burke Funeral Home www.BurkeFamilyFuneralHomes.com.
