Margaret G. “Margie” Simmons, 69, of East Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the loving wife of Daryl Simmons.
Born July 15, 1955 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Murphy and Margaret M. Murphy. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1973 and Massasoit Community College in 1975.
Margie worked as a Medical Representative for many years.
She made many friendships over the years.
She is survived by her husband, Daryl Simmons; her sons, Brad Simmons, Jeffrey Simmons and the late Christopher Simmons; her siblings, Kathleen Mathews and William Murphy; her brother-in-law, Owen Murphy; her sisters-in-law, Susan Murphy and Elaine Murphy; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the sister of the late Mary Beth Murphy and Joseph Murphy, and the sister-in-law of the late Richard Mathews.
Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Thursday, June 19th at 11:00AM. Internment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home are on Wednesday, June 18th from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
