Salvatore F. Cincotta, 65

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with ALS, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 18, 1957 in Newton; beloved son of Anthony Cincotta and the late Mary (Montesanti) Cincotta. Sal was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1975; Sal furthered his education graduating from Bentley College in 1980 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting. Sal was employed in Finance with the Raytheon Corporation throughout his life.

Sal was a beloved brother, uncle, godfather, friend, coach, lover of the Three Stooges, sports, bad music, and curbside plaza.

Sal was happiest when spending time with family and friends. He loved to follow his favorite bands and made friends wherever he went. He spent years on the baseball field at Warrendale Little league, sharing his Salvi wisdom with hundreds of eager Cubs, just waiting to “play ball!”

After retirement he continued his love for baseball working at Fenway Park. His compassionate heart has left a lasting impression on everyone who has ever had the pleasure of knowing him. Thank you for all the memories filled with great big belly laughs and followed with “Salvi out!”

Sal was predeceased by his loving mother, Mary (Montesanti) Cincotta; and he is survived by his father, Anthony Cincotta of Hollywood FL, his sister Toni Cincotta of Tampa Fl, his brother, Frank Cincotta (Kathy Cincotta) of Westborough MA, and his sisters, Marianne Cincotta of E. Wareham MA, Linda Meadows of Milford MA, and Maria Cincotta of Wareham MA. He is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews, three great nephews, 3 great nieces and tons of godchildren.

Sal had amazing friends who helped carry him through his courageous battle. Sal will be greatly missed by his family and friends but will live on in our hearts until we meet again.

Those who wish to pay their respects to Sal and his family can do so in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Thursday October 5th from 4pm until 8pm.
