Born September 26, 1939 in Nairobi, Kenya to Vishnu Mitra Mohindra and Savitri Devi Mohindra. He leaves behind beloved wife Karuna, dear sons, Atul, Dhruv, and Kapil, their spouses, and three grandchildren. He is survived by two younger brothers and their families in the UK and follows his beloved late elder sister and brother.
Graduate of Delhi Cambridge School, New Delhi, India 1953, Duke of Gloucester School, Nairobi, Kenya 1957. Business visionary who founded and led a worldwide curio export business in Nairobi in the 1960s. As Vice President of Greater Roxbury Development Corporation in 1979, was instrumental in breaking red lining for Roxbury (90 Warren St) and redevelopment of the South Boston Naval Yard. During four decades as an entrepreneur, completed transformative commercial and residential real estate developments. Member, Rotary Club of Belmont. Avid community member of Arya Samaj Nairobi and Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of Boston. Resident of Brookline, MA.

Visitation in the Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home 376 Washington St, Brookline on Wednesday January 29 from 3:00-7:00PM, relatives and friends are kindly invited. Funeral services are private.
