As some of you are aware, we lost our dad, Robert Benjamin, on Friday of last week to ALS. I will miss his loud voice and big laugh, his monster hugs, his scent, his deep curiosity and the love and pride he had for our family, for rowing and for all things Trinity. He wore suspenders down to the threads, perfected the art of a dad joke and when I was a kid, tickled me so hard that it was always a toss up whether I would cry first or pee. He had a wonderful relationship with my kids and for that I’m the most grateful. We thought we might have more time with him but I feel so blessed to have had the time that we did and to have the memories that we do. We will be having a memorial at The Stumble Inn on January 6th at 11am.
