Obituary: Sheila Frisch

SWAMPSCOTT, MA: Sheila A. Frisch, 67, of Swampscott, Mass., passed away January 31, 2016, at Massachusetts General Hospital. Sheila was born in Springfield, Mass., on November 30, 1948, to the late Alfred and Rosemary Frisch. She was raised and educated in Springfield schools, and later earned a Bachelors in Accounting from Northeastern University. Sheila was Vice President of Operations at Cabot Market Letter in Salem and worked there for 40 years.

Sheila had a passion for life, and particularly loved to travel with her daughter, Alicia.

She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Lindeman of Cambridge; her sister, Karen and her husband, Philip Pelletier of Georgetown; nephew, Jason Pelletier and niece, Alison Pelletier both of Georgetown.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Midshipman Alfred Frisch, and E. Michael Frisch.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the ALS Foundation or Compassionate Care ALS. Her funeral will be held from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street (corner of North Street), Salem, on Friday, February 5, at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, 30 Union Street, Salem, MA, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
