Keith Donnelly, September 24, 1961-April 10, 2012.
Keith Donnelly of Chelsea, MA and formerly of Everett, MA died peacefully in his sleep of ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease on April 10, 2012 at 11 am. He was beloved and dearest friend of Janet Donald, and closest friend of Dave Roccia. Loving son of late Larry and Helen Donnelly of Everett, MA; brother of Dennis and wife, Joy, of Sonoma, CA; brother of Brian and wife, Eileen of Duxbury, MA; brother of sister Noreen Cavanaugh of Salem, MA; brother of late Larry; brother of Kevin of Las Vegas, NE; brother of Danny of Thousand Oaks, CA: brother of sister Irene Levin and husband Steve of St. John, USVI; and brother of Joe of Boston, MA.
Keith is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews as well as a large group of friends to include Nick Enfanto, Rick Colangelo and many others. It was through the help and support of these dear and close friends that Keith was able to spend his final 3 months at home where he was most comfortable.
Keith, a graduate of Pope John High School was an excellent athlete who played hockey at Michigan State University drew the attention of the Montreal Expos as a pitcher. After a year of college Keith turned to modeling and acting and was seen in several movies and TV series to include: “The Profiler,” “The Crucible” and “Flintstones,” the movie.
Friends and family are kindly invited to join in a celebration of Keith’s Life that will take place on April 18. The celebration will begin promptly at 5:10 pm at a gathering at Antonia’s Restaurant, 492 Revere Beach Blvd, Revere, MA, immediately followed by the sprinkling of ashes. Celebrants will reconvene at Antonia’s. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting that donations be made to Compassionate Care/ALS.
