Obituary: “Flea” Felisha Foster
Published in October 2017
Dear Friends of Flea and Sheri,
Sadly, Flea has left us, after a long, determined and courageous battle with a disease that never managed to dent her beautiful, indomitable spirit. She passed away October 9, at home and at rest, in the company of Sheri and her sister Fae.
Please follow this link for to Flea’s memorial site which will also hold future memorial information, updated as we go along…For now, we welcome you to her site… https://et9929.wixsite.com/fleafoster/donations
Flea has supported MANY charities, but Compassionate Care, ALS is the charity that has done so much to support both Flea and Sheri as this horrible disease progressed. CCALS provided the motorized wheelchair you may have seen Flea buzzing around the hood in, and the lift that made getting into their new home possible.
She and Sheri think the world of Ron Hoffman and his organization. (I can’t use the past tense for Flea yet.)
And they are not alone. NPR produced a recent show about his important work that recently aired on WBUR. You can link to the story/broadcast here.
Without a doubt, Flea would be thrilled to have Ron’s organization receive donations in her name.
